Pros: Great views, decent food... But those views are to die for! Cons: Tends to be crowded and noisy
We have eaten in at least three Chart House restaurants over the years, but we keep returning to one in Dobbs Ferry, NY. And frankly, it is not for the food that we come to Chart House - it is for the sunsets! The restaurant is situated right by the ...
Pros: Tasty enough food, great view of the Ohio River Cons: Perhaps under-staffed, on the pricy side, some hitches along the way.
This review is for the Newport, Kentucky location. I am visiting the Chart House after several years' hiatus. Some nearby construction of a hotel had the place shut down for a while, but I remember it fondly as a wonderful place my wife and I enjoyed ...
Pros: Unbelievable food, excellent view Cons: a bit pricey for everyday occasions
If anyone has missed me lately, it is because I changed jobs and am back working in the Restaurant business. I know, it's a big change from working as a computer geek - I had to retire my horn rimmed glasses with the white tape in the middle, the pocket...
Pros: Can't be beat location, attractive dining rooms, good food Cons: Expensive
We have been to at least four Chart House restaurants, all located in the absolutely most picturesque part of every town to which they spread. And the Boston Chart House is the best, hands down. Although I must say that the Chart House is Philadelphia...
Pros: The view of the Halifax River was stunning. Cons: The food was not up to standard at all. I can't imagine people returning here.
I have eaten at two other Chart Houses before in Rhode Island and Connecticut, I don't think either one is opened anymore and had fabulous meals. Last week while on vacation in Daytona Beach my husband and I decided to have dinner at the beautiful marina ...
Pros: Cesar Salad and view Cons: The Management and the Menu
On a recent trip to Longboat Key, FL my mother and I decided to top off our week with a dinner at The Chart House. What we got was a memorable occasion for all the wrong reasons. I am an avid restaurant patron, a professional chef, sommelier and ...
Pros: Amazing food, generous portions, spectacular view Cons: Pricey but worth it
I first experienced The Chart House on the North Shore of Oahu, HI. At first, I thought this restaurant was exclusive to the islands but later found out The Chart House is a chain...thank God!! On the North Shore, the restaurant is situated on the boat...
Pros: The name impresses people. Cons: Lousy service - so so food and pricey.
First of all I did not know that the Chart House was a chain. I have been there several times and I consider it rather pricey for what you get. Considering that in Baltimore parking is at a premium and therefore expensive, dining at the Chart House is ...
Pros: Scenic views Cons: Overpriced for what you get
I decided to take my sweetheart for a special Valentine's Day dinner at the Chart House seafood restaurant. We both love seafood, and I thought it would be very romantic.
We were seated at the farthest table from the window possible, so we...
worst restaurant experience of my life by homcheck ,Jul 14 '08
Pros: NOTHING Cons: EVERYTHING
Philadelphia Chart House was our choice to celebrate my 50th birthday. Mu husband made reservation well in advance for our family and requested window seating (no problem they said) and birthday cake. When we arrived after waiting about 15 mins. (ok) we were seated behind a pole not aywhere near a window,, the food was brought cold and no birthday cake was ever presented. My sister was chased down as we were leaving because her entre was never added to the bill and they said she needed to pay. The whole experience was awful. My husband called later to complain and the hostess said the manager was busy and would call later--never happened. The manager finally did call us after we called numerous times over 2 weeks. They said please give us another chance. They had their chance and blew it. Never again.
