Well I like it... by georgem87 Pros: Great for mixing.
Cons: Encourages people to drink too much, and then blame the drink. I actually think this stuff is great, mainly because it has very little water, so if you mix it with anything the drink doesn't get watered down the way it would if mixed with vodka. So basically, if you use this instead of vodka, you can use less of it and you'll get better-tasting mixed drinks with the same alcohol content.

People who complain about the fact that if you drink a bunch of this straight you get sick/too drunk are really just stating the obvious. One shot of this is equivalent to a little more than two shots of regular liquour. Keep this in mind when drinking it and you won't run into problems. |

Best Frozen Pizza Available by eugeniafickens Pros: Cooks well. Directions are not misleading and there are many varieties to chose from.
Cons: There are no cons, they are definitey worth the price. Saw these on sale in Pathmark and decided to give it a try. Oh My!!! This is the best line of pizza available from a supermarket freezer. My picky husband and brother loved them. One day I went to a popular pizza chain and brought home a pie. When I got home my husband said, "I thought you were getting Red Barron!" That's how good.

Cooling units fail by vaskeptic Pros: The cabinet has held up well. The cooling unit was relatively easy to replace.
Cons: Cooling units fail every three years and cost $300. Do the math. The original box arrived with a cracked glass front door. Eventually was replaced, but an insurance guy had to come out first (big pain). Bigger problem: the cooling units do not last long--only 3 years (usually less). At over $300 (w tax and shipping), that means plan to spend $100+/ year. I just had the THIRD unit fail. I will search for other options on keeping the cabinet, but using another cooling unit. Drobot does not acknowledge that there is a problem. Read the rest of these reviews and you will see I am not alone.

Broke down just after warranty expired. by bigeditor Pros: Great idea.
Cons: Poor execution and NO support! Bought it, used it, loved it... until it just stopped working right after the warranty expired. The manufacturer was unhelpful, and no repair company would touch it saying it wasn't worth my or their time to even look at it.

A Dining Experience Worth Every Penny by rhawkinson Pros: Great service, amazing food, classy but comfortable atmosphere.
Cons: Almost too MUCH food! Is it possible to finish all that pasta? When you walk into Grand Lux Cafe, it may remind you of the Cheesecake Factory. It's got a very grand decor, but is still down-to-earth enough so you can walk in wearing jeans and not feel remotely out of place. Their menu is so extensive, it's kind of hard to decide what you want, but know that everything is delicious! My favorite is the Tomato Basil Pasta with chicken - an angel hair pasta that has a bit of pesto, fresh mozzarella cheese chunks, and just enough fresh tomato sauce to make it go down easy (without being overwhelming). And on top of it all, the service was on point! Very accommodating without being overbearing, and the server was able to speak to the menu without coming off as fake. A definite favorite spot - both the Scottsdale and Hollywood locations!

Buckhead's best kept secret! by niatores Pros: The ambience is perfect for a first date or casual outing with friends.
Cons: The location is a little tucked away. A charming restaurant that is filled with reminiscence of the Colorado slopes. I had brunch with ten of my favorite girlfriends in December and WE loved it. The shrimp and grits were a favorite followed by the smoked salmon omelette and buttermilk pancakes. All of our request were accommodated effortlessly.

DHEA and other androgens by alexnds Pros: Elevates mood and sex drive.
Cons: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off if higher than 25mg. This is a good product that can be used for those that are weight lifting and can help with the pain associated with muscle soreness somewhat, because once it enters the body, it will be eventually be converted by your liver into testorone. It can help in the tissue repair process, since muscle is built with microscopic tissue tearing and then rebuilding it, which is how muscle grows. Androstedione (Pronounced Andro-steen-dee-own) is one step away from testorone. Tribulus, another common supplment is two steps away and so is DHEA, which converts to DHT (male pattern baldness stuff) and Testorone. It is not a steroid like Dianobol and so forth, but rather a precursor, not the actual testorone itself. In low dosage, like 25mg, it's not enough to cause signfiicant acne or any other things associated with androgens. It is enough, to elevate sex drive, mood and help with recovery for the casual exercise with dumbells, not the professional bodybuilder.

Can help men after age 40 achieve testorene levels of younger age. This is a precursor to testorone, not a steroid in itself. |

Okay but tastes a bit off by anjchang Pros: Easy, looks nice, cheap to make in terms of time and money.
Cons: Butter from the crust gives an aftertaste. The cheesecake part tastes very sugary and unnatural. Making it is very easy, but results were disappointing. They are easy to do (little prep time, about 20 minutes of active work, just 2 hours wait).

Starbucks Dry-Processed Ethiopian Sidamo Whole Bean Winter 2008 by tfr888 Pros: Convenient location of retail outlet. Fancy packaging in a brown tin box.
Cons: Charred beyond recognition. If Starbucks' roasters know better, they're not the ones calling the shots. A properly roasted Ethiopian Sidamo is a beautiful coffee, with hints of blueberry, strawberry, jasmine, honey, and sometimes sweet citrus in the aroma.

Sorry to say, the 1/2 pound bag of dry-processed Sidamo being sold by Starbucks for $12.95 during the holiday season of 2008 is a very bad example. Starbucks have roasted the beans so deeply they are charred beyond recognition; all of these subtle evanescent varietal flavors have been cooked away. With the Starbucks Sidamo, instead of tasting and smelling blueberries and jasmine, you'll have ashes in your mouth. These beans should be roasted to a honey-color or to a golden-brown color, not deep ebony as Starbucks has done. For good examples of the fine coffees this region of Africa can produce, you might visit these artisanal roasters who sell mail-order. Just add .com to the name to find them on the internet. novocoffee ptscoffee terroircoffee counterculturecoffee barefootcoffee paradise roasters (remove the space between the words) intelligentsiacoffee I have no affiliation with any of them except that I've had their coffees and can recommend them highly. Their coffees will have been roasted the same day they go out the door via USPS Priority or UPS Ground, or perhaps a day or two before. |
