Tried to pull a fast one! by sixpackjoe  Pros: There are none that I can see. Well maybe a good rate!
Cons: Quick to DIS other companies. Very Dishonest. Use Extreme Caution. The agent tried to get me into a FHA home loan, also told me my costs over another lender would be cheaper. Well they were not cheaper, but 3000 more. Also let the person know that the property was going to be rented out and used basically as an investment property. Well FHA Loans prohibit this. Who would be liable me or the company for falsifying that kind of information? Needless to say I did not go with them.

To close an unused suspend acct, they make me pay $255 by threerabbits Pros: Large company and many lander uses Chase.
Cons: Fees Fees Fees. I am trying to close an line of credit acct Chase suspended (due to decline value of my home). This line of credit was never used. To close it, Chase wants me to pay $105 payoff fee + Closure fee of $45 + fax fee of $60 + reconveyance fee of $45. I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE GET A LINE OF CREDIT FROM CHASE. Please let every one know to be aware.

Unprofessional and charged me for services not rendered by absingh Pros: None.
Cons: Very expensive lesson I learned. Unprofessional and unreliable staff, and expensive. Horrible customer service. They'll ask for upfront fee of $600 for home refi and then leave you hanging. I had to call them to get updates, got stood up by their appraiser. No one had any idea what had happened. I missed the December 31st deadline due to their incompetence, and got charged $600 for which I have nothing to show for.

Cons: lots My main problem with GMAC is how they handle paying my taxes. They require taxes and insurance be escrowed. In 2007,they lost my school tax bill and paid it late after I sent them my copy. In 2008, they paid my school taxes TWICE resulting in an escrow shortgage that made my payment alot higher than it should be. It has been six months and they still haven't gottten MY $$$ back. I have requested a call from a supervisor and they refuse. I will probably have to pay a lawyer to get my $1800 back.

Beware of Additional Closing Costs!!!!! by ladeana Pros: one place to get many quotes
Cons: $450 fee and my phone is still ringing off the hook with persistant brokers! What lending tree doesn't tell you up front is that once you close a loan from using a quote from their site the lender will charge you $450 lending tree fee on top of everything else! Very disappointing!
